Kids Voting
is grounded in
the fundamental democratic principle of community, on the willingness
of people to work together, and on the importance of an informed
and involved citizenry. It is about building a partnership with
a community to achieve the common goal of increasing citizen participation
in government. These values serve as the guideposts for the formation
of a Kids Voting Community Task Force.
Kids Voting
Kansas, Inc., is a licensee of Kids Voting USA® and is responsible
for the local community affiliates. The Kids Voting philosophy
is based upon a belief in local decision-making about project
implementation. However, as the licensee, Kids Voting Kansas must
require adherence to the Kids Voting USA® Ten Standards for
Implementation. |
